When I joined Aptela – a leading provider of business-class Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions for the SMB market – back in 2006, I took our online marketing and social to an entirely new level. With a shoestring marketing budget and a requirement to build the Aptela brand and drive monthly recurring revenue (MRR) for the business, I immediately turned to online marketing and social media. Through a combination of SEO, PPC, content marketing and marketing automation, I quickly built a high quality pipeline for Aptela’s inside sales team. This engine allowed the company to drive up revenues from $3M to $8M in just 2.5 years and set the company up for its eventual acquisition by Vocalocity (now Vonage Business). I then moved back to the enterprise B2B world as the VP of Marketing for Dimension Data Americas, a $1.5B IT Services and Solutions Provider. While there, I helped the organization learn how to put the power of social selling, social recruiting and social engagement to work. I’m now ready to help your business.
